Single Malt is best

I'm not a scotch guy, I'll admit, but I might have been if I'd started with single malts rather than garbage lazy blends. Looking at you Johnny walker. I recently assisted my father emptying an old single malt and thoroughly enjoyed it. A Macallan 12. Anyway, what are your favorite single malt scotc...

The moon is blue. Reserve your judgement until about 20-30 min in. That's when the drinking starts and David sader gets going.

Bar carts

Best home decor or useless furniture to trip over and lose booze?

I just purchased an antique one online so there's my vote. Nothing like toting around a cart of alcohol while you entertain.

Re: pickle back

I tried these a few months ago. Not my favorite but not horrible. It made drinking the shitty corn whiskey bareable. Not sure about the hangover mitigation though.

Re: Booze News

I want to know if you could craft your own gut brews depending on what you ate. Feeling like stoli? Eat some taters. Shine caught your eye? Corn it is. Hmm...

Re: Ascetic boozing.

I envy you all. I pair food and booze like a muthafugga. One leads to the other and back again. No order, just eats and drinks.

My surefire hangover cure of a greasy breakfast gets the job done every time. What rounds out a meal like nothing else? Well, you get the idea.

Re: The outdoor drinking season is underway

A huge part of summer up here in Canada is outdoor boozing......fishing trips, on the deck, boating, driving with the sunroof open is considered outdoors I think......any type of sporting event (as a spectator or participant)....the list goes on. We pound em pretty hard up here cuz the last snow is...

Interesting. Write drunk and edit undrunk seems to be the standard. I'd say anything with dialogue is certainly helped while tipping them back.

In quiet reflection: Or, writing under the influence

So do you do it? Do you prefer it? I know this isn't by any means a new question, especially since many of the legends that grace the halls of drunkdom were authors and damn fine ones. But do you, as a rule, make a point to write for fun or work while sligging them back? I'd venture to guess that th...
