Moonshine is just booze that wasn't taxed by the man or given an official designation.

You can make white lightning or make your own decient brown booze by aging it in barrels.

However it is rare form to see someone make their own aged rye whiskey.

Oggar, since you're a porter man, may I suggest Otter Creek Stovepipe Porter, or anything from Long Trail? Both made in Vermont, the Other Smaller Wisconsin. Vermont beers have a certain thing about them, I can't quite place it, I believe it's the local hops they use. Oh and stay away from Magic Hat...
