Re: linux

Nowadays, 8GB RAM is not so hard for the average CPU to handle, and it is cheap to have installed, and 8GB RAM can handle VMWare Workstation easily. The nice thing about Workstation is that you can have a few machines running inside of what you have now, and if you fuck them up, you can delete them ...

Back at you, Mr. Prick.

I am toasting the Gripper. May you walk up the bar, where Stanley and Stella are sitting, right next to your bourbon.

Cheers, Grip.

Re: Mayhem's Mutts

I did not know what to do when he passed. I wanted to donate something. I even thought of buying credit at your donut shop for the little one, seeing as we were all blessed to see pictures of donuts and that wonderful bench. Now I know. Thank you so much for posting this.

Re: I had to call 911 for Liz tonight

One of my favorite memories of Liz involves her trying to find a way to re-up her social security number. She had no ID on her, could not get a state ID without her social security card or birth certificate, and she could not get either of those. We ended up finagling our ways through some red tape ...

Weirdest Thing You Ever Found in a Bottle of Booze

I just found a spider in a bottle in the bottom of a bottle of wine. No shit. I swear. Happy spider I am sure, but yeah.

So, what's the weirdest thing you found in a bottle of wine/booze/beverage?

Nice Business Arrangement

In the last half year I found the boon of a new wholesaler. He has a lavender farm. He now buys my candles and resells them. This reminds me of that SNL skit where John Belushi imitated Joe Cocker and basically threw himself off the stage in a contortionist fit. Good stuff.

Re: What songs do you want played at your funeral?

Ah, my very best friend in the world was born and raised in Ontario. Her dad played in the CFL for years and years. And I'm currently having a few shots of Beam Black. And if you're strange, then all the better.
