Dropkick Murphys is about the only mainstream band I like. Blind Guardian, Epica, Nightwish, Heidfolke and other European metal bands really don't get any airplay here.

Guinness may work but I find its best after 10:00 for some reason. Can't explain it, it just is.

I've had good success with fruit beers. Something sweet that has fruit on the label is good to trick you into thinking this is as good as dirnking real fruit juice.
