It's a Lifestyle, Not a Disease
10 Reasons Why I Love To Drink 10 Solitude. The quiet hours of the night give rest to the chaos of the day filled with children’s cry’s and wife’s bitter caw’s. 9 Focus Time to accomplish the things I said I’d do when undrunk, but only find time to do when the hours wane at night. 8 Clarity Clear t...

Re: how to raise the low the attendance here.
Good old fashioned cross posting in the diy booze forums will bring membership and views. I started out in the diy forums, home distiller, Artisan Distiller, and so forth. These days I brew to drink and love heavily sampling my wares. Mrs adhd is on side too. We make copious amounts of the fine elix...

A review of last night's internet history is often revealing when on a solitary quest.... When folks are over, it's more of a discovery based on veiled jokes and comments referring to the previous drinking session. I'm a fan of this, until I see the pictures (sometimes videos) Theres a reason for th...

Re: I declare today, "International Drunkard Unity Day!"
Let us drink to our accomplishments and forget about our failures. Life is too short. If we are feeling no pain at this present moment, we are a raving success! Cheers! Hear Hear.... I second this with a glass held high. And to all the fine folk here who are self sufficient with their booze, share ...

Too many drunk/hungover students on Friday to be a coincidence. I just LOVE administering a quiz or test on a Friday to get em.
If you wanna drink with the boys, you have to get up with the men.

You have to look at this awesome booze machine
This is how you stay ahead of the curve. Good booze is only a few hrs away with a machine like this. It's my new addition to my whiskey self sufficiency arsenal. With this I can make fantastic beer or whiskey if I choose. I almost came the first time I saw it when I picked it up a few days ago... Ne...

Re: What do you drink when you're on a budget?
Been on a budget for a while. If I want to drink the way I like to, then I gotta make it. It's more than that though, cause I can make better than I can buy.
At the moment, my 10 gallon barrel is full of 60% (120 proof) whiskey. Life is good...

Re: SAUSAGES!!!!!!!!
Made this a little while back, it's almost all gone and time for another batch... It's pure pork farmer sausage, bought a half a pig and made most of it into sausage myself. The smokehouse and control panel (mounted on the side of it) I made myself. That homemade sausage goes good with some homemade...

Weirdest place I ever woke up......
Funny thing is, I don't remember. Shitty thing is, there was pics and video to prove it, me stumbling drunk outta the bathroom/bathtub after a few hours and wandering pantsless off to bed..... and that video sucked.

Amen, weekends are indeed for drinking.
Now we need to petition the powers that be to extend the weekend to three days to allow for an additional drinking day.

Savage - Because violence works. sometimes it does. but really, you never hit a woman on the first date. there's lots of set-up. the main thing is to distance her from her friends and family. and break her will. and convince her she deserves it and could never hope to do better. women who would hit...

Re: How's your health?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, scotch in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming " WHOOOO HOOOO, what a fuckin' ride" !!!! Now tha...

Re: making booze
Isn't bourbon technically only the first run through a barrel? And anything after that is whiskey? I think that's what he was getting at. When you make your own, you make the rules. Technically, my stuff is corn-barley-sugar in a recharred barrel that was used once by tuthilltown spirits and then s...
