Re: Why the Hating on Jack Daniel's
I've never been a fan of Jack, in fact the last time I had it was over 25 years ago.I think that most people drink Jack because of it's iconic bottle and not the swill inside? Back in the day we preferred Wild Turkey...GOBBLE...GOBBLE.

The Bender after the Bender's "Brobdingnagian Build-up"
The Bender after the Bender's "Brobdingnagian Build-up" I'm at a connundrum with this and I've done a search but nothing comes up. There is a special time usually the next morning after a real Bender when I've opted for the "Hair of the Dog",that period when you can just gargle back 7 or 9 beers wit...

The Superman Ice-Cube
The Superman Ice-Cube Last night I ran out of ice for my mixed drink and while looking out through the falling snow, debating about making an ice-trek, I got a brainstorm - I thought why can't I use fresh snow. While looking at this white blanket of chill I thought about Superman and how he would c...

Re: How low can yuo go?
hus·sy (hŭz′ē, hŭs′ē) n. pl. hus·sies 1. A woman considered to be brazen or promiscuous. 2. A saucy or impudent girl or young woman. I'd always heard the term "Brazen hussy" . According to your description of a hussy, if correct, would mean that calling someone a "Brazen hussy" would be akin to cal...

Re: Favorite time of the day to get loaded
When I worked the Night shift 20 years ago I loved Saturday morning 8:00 AM wine drinking sessions to go along with my pasta dinner, what a way to start off my weekends.Good times!

Re: How low can yuo go?
I was in Toronto (when the Jay's beat the Phillies for the Series) and some hobo hit me up for a smoke. He was drinking Listerine. Good times. I'm also from TO.Around the same time period you mentioned I had a bum on Yonge St who hit me up as I was walking into a Beckers, he wanted me to buy him a ...

Re: Zombies, how many is too many?
5-6 sounds reasonable given the recipe you've most graciously provided. In my esteem, Beachcomber Don is basically the Picasso of the cocktail world, and the Zombie rates as one of his finest works. What really pulls the whole drink together is good rum and falernum as a backbone with the right cit...
