Re: Sad days
Yes, today families around the country are waking up with smiles, anticipation and probably also tears of joy. Packing up and getting ready for surgery tonight. Allowing better life, longer life or life that would otherwise have also been lost. At this time the only comfort is knowing this. That and...

Sad days
I just needed to write something somewhere. I haven't been around for years, but I know you are all a good listening crowd. I just need to let some words out. I feel I need to. I'm not big on talking about my feelings. And at the moment I can't utter a word without my voice cracking up and I break i...

I started Keith Richards autobiography Life but I can't get through it - it's so uninteresting it's killing me. Should force myself through it so that I can take the next book on the shelf - Bukowski's Notes of a Dirty Old Man.

Doesn't that sound kind of gay? I mean, if people think drinking a drink through the straw is kind of gay, what would sucking on a popsicle be...

Re: "10 things that cost way more outside the US"
They portrait Norway as being expensive, and it is, but relative to Sweden they make a helluva-lot more money there in comparison to Swedes so with that relativity taken in consideration Sweden looses. Also, there are a crap load of Norwegians vacationing in Sweden. Their money, our prices. Them bas...

Re: collecting bottle caps
I collect(ed) Champagne corks which turned out too space consuming so I continued with just keeping the little caps on the top of the corks. I've stopped drinking champagne as it's too expensive but I still have the caps (and some corks). I should throw them away but for some strange reason throwing...

Re: i have never had a bloody mary
Now, taste is only what it is and no one in this world or the other can decide for you if you like it or not. Absolutely, and it most certainly does have an acquired taste. It's just one of those things I would like to like. I don't really like tomato juice so I suppose it's a lost cause. Although,...

Re: i have never had a bloody mary
I've given Bloody Mary two attempts. I searched the Internet for a recipe and pretty much just picked one from a site that I thought was respectable. I wanted to try one at least one so that I could relate to the drink when spoken of. It was beyond horrible. I don't waste liquor but I had to pour th...

One could say that there's a certain amount of drinking in Project X. Wasn't too shabby.

There's no hell after death, only rot and decay. Hell only exist, as stated before, as life on earth.

Re: Drinking it all away
You have to be above (inside) the arctic circle to have 24h sun. I'm a bit below it so the sun dips down for an hour and a half or so before it's back up, of course the sky never gets dark.
