Well, why not a black-and-tan? Assuming they can pour a proper one, of course. Of course, my answer to the original question would be (D) vodka. But thats just my preference. And I just realized I should really shut my mouth, as I have no vodka in the house and am therefore currently sucking on a Brooklyn Lager. Laziness.

I definitely go with the Sierra Nevada.

It's not as heavy as the guiness and has twice as much alcohol.

I've never really understood the cult of Guinness. It's tasty and all but it barely has more alcohol than coke. Makes a pleasant whisky chaser though as long as you make a ratio of one pint of guiness to one pint of whiskey.

I would probably pick the guiness but it depends on which kind of each, overall I would think the guiness is better but some of the sierra neveda's are fantastic, their summer brew is just great.

is he even alive anymore? He should be in the pantheon of Great Drunks..

I fairly sure he is. I think he resigned the presidency because it was getting in the way of his vodka consumption.

The problem with the Guiness vs SPA question is, that it leaves no room for the Lager-Pilsner crowd. Both of those beers are the ones I drink at a party at 4 AM after all the Bud Light, and Vermouth is gone. I stand in the ranks of the Pilsner-Lager crowd.
