I had a friend who was freaking out because he was always vomiting black vomit--nasty, thick black chunky vomit. He was seriously concerned for his health.

Of course, he finally realized that it might have something to do with the bottle of Jagermeister he consumed most every night.

I have a great drinking story involving this guy and black vomit I'll have to tell sometime when I get a few minutes to type it out.

If you had nothing green to eat before drinking and your vomit was green, you were vomiting bile. This suggests that you should eat something before drinking.
Either that or you are experiencing gastric or hepatic problems.
Is it a recurring problem? If it has been happening for more than a week then you should consult your GP.
If you experience indisgestion before vomiting, try a mild antacid.
In any case, keep a diary of food and liquid (and any other substances, even if it is only the aforementioned antacids) intake and mark the days the problem occurs. A pattern may become apparent. Even if it does not, it will aid any future diagnosis.
