Magic Hat tasting at the Old Toad tonight. They mistakingly send a brand new stout instead of a scotch porter, and it was good. There was also the Number 9, the Jinz and the Saint Goolz, or something like that. Here's one pic:

I got a t-shirt and a pint glass, and I didn't pay for a thing! Finally being a regular in good standing pays off!

I loved the Jinx, it had a peat-smoked whiskey malt. Had the Batch 372, had nice chocolate undertones. The St Gootz is a winter wheat, deep flavored and dark with a lot of sediments in the bottle. All good, I still miss the Hocus Pocus summer offering at times.

I bought a sixer of the St Gootz and was impressed. Dark with good flavor but very smooth.

This reminds me, do we have a team of scientists and drunk monkeys working on some sort of portal/teleportation tecknowlogy? I want to be a regular at the Old Toad but still live in Mankato.
