Good Friends!

Post by BAD LIEUTENANT »

My buddy knows I am off upstate to do some writing and try to learn something about single malt whiskies. He came over to my place on his way to work this morning and gave me a bottle of Scapa Scotch. That is a friend!

You should toast your wonderful friend with the first drink!
That being said; have you tried it yet? I gave it a test drink at my favorite scotch bar a few weeks back and wasn't very impressed. Too light bodied for my tastes. I prefer whiskey with a little more heft and depth. Now, obviously, if a bottle was placed in my lap I'd be happy and obliged to polish off, don't get me wrong. But I'm curious to see what other people think of it.
