Milwalkee's Best is the cheapest thing going around here, almost undrinkable except for the icebeer's 8% so a 16 oz can get you startfucked.

Bob at the party store has a simple trick for cheap beer; a pellet of hops from the homebrew section chushed and mixed in can make you think you're drinking good stuff.

Alright there, Zaphod.

High Life has been my standard beer since the early '90s. During that unemployment days, I usually went with Natty Ice.

The difference between cheap and pretty decent alch in Australia is a few dollars. If your paying out the ass for it anyway may as well go for the better stuff

My "volume" beer is Miller Lite. I can appreciate the charms of Schlitz, PBR, etc. but they always give me a headache the next day.

Rolling Rock has dark horse potential to be the next PBR, and without the headaches to boot. Mark my words.

I've been having a wail of a time getting free beer. Friends keep deciding to have free beer at parties. Tennent's is my go-to cheap beer, have gone from hating it to loving it in the three years I've been in Glasgow. My brother used to drink harp on the reasoning it was so bad nobody would steal it from him

I actually like Colt .45, to an extent. It's cheap, powerful and comes in eight packs, both 12 and 16 ounce as well as single 24 and 40 ounces.

Even though malt liquor is beer, it is usually discussed seperately, even here.

I've been drinking a lot of Colt 45 over Olde English lately. Actually that's not so much a choice as it is necessitated that its the only malt liquor 40 that one of my locals sells. If I'm at a 40-store or pizza shop with Olde E, I'll buy the 8-ball, but otherwise you can call me Coqui Dee Williams.

Olde English is a bit sweet for me. Although, I do believe that it is more potent than Colt. (I erroneously wrote ".45", which it is not named. Conversly, there was a major league baseball team name the Colt .45's; I believe that they became the Texas Rangers.)

You'd figure that with prices like that, you could afford some punctuation.
