Re: starting the day
started today with orange juice because I had to MOT the car (UK roadworthyness test) It failed as my wreckless overloading (750kg in the boot of a family car) and approach to speed bumps has collapsed the rear suspension. I am drinking to the loss of mobility now

Re: starting the day
yup, on the special brew now to compensate. Sadly my heavy working seems to have made me a pussy. Drunk already. Nearly passed out and was sick last weekend when friends came to visit. There has to be a better wayoettinger wrote:This sucks I hope you recover somehowMr. Viking wrote:started today with orange juice because I had to MOT the car (UK roadworthyness test) It failed as my wreckless overloading (750kg in the boot of a family car) and approach to speed bumps has collapsed the rear suspension. At least you get money for it.
Save it, squander it later. With a vengeance!

It comes in many shapes. I for example arranged my retirement provision kind of this way
Refund is way more solid than gold in these desolate times

Drink!
Re: starting the day
I made a bloody mary with the items I received on the 2013 HBE. I'll be honest: it was hard to get down. I'd prefer brandy in my coffee or shots if bourbon. I appreciate the bloody mary, and very much appreciate the gift, I'm just finding it tough to drink tomato juice in the morning.

What is this "start" that you speak of? I keep calm and carry on.

I start with calm, and escalate from there.

At least a 2 shots of 2oz Everclear followed with whatever feels right at the moment (can't go wrong with water ever).Bluto wrote:How do you start your morning drunkening?
Screwdrivers? Bloody Marys? Shower beer? Perhaps a little Iris in your coffee? Perhaps a mimosa or fruity rum drink? Maybe a shot of tequila?
If you know you've got a full day or two of drinking how do you start? I'm curious...

Which goes better with cinnamon toast? Vodka and orange/grapefruit, or bourbon and milk? Unfortunately, cannot go to sleep, as the junk-hauler person is coming sometime this morning, to make our yard a little less redneck, by hauling away an old clothes dryer.

Thanks, crazy-looking bat-like creature. I'm on a tear where I cannot sleep no matter what, so I might as well go whole Petunia Pig and make it hot chocolate with the cinnamon toast. Whoopee! I live large!
