They are! What are your experiences with mead in mixed drinks?

"Only in the bizarro Scandinavian pilsner tyrrany is mead considered an inferior product." I quite agree. Although I wouldn't feel comfortable adding spritzer to mead. A good ale perhaps as to mix your own neoprotean braggot.

Mead is quite delicious on it's own. Lightly chilled for summer consumption, served from a pitcher or a carafe that has one of those ice pouches. I like the idea of adding a dash of bitters to the glass too.

Had to go with what was on hand.

A dry cyser. Floral and tart with a nice honey finish.

No lemons but I had a lime White Claw hard seltzer adding about 5% ABV to the mix.

I gotta say it would be refreshing on a hot summer day like today. Oh shit. It is refreshing on a hot summer day like today.

I have no idea what is going on in any of these pictures but I'll drink it.
How can it be so cold in here? It's like Greenland in here. We've got to get some booze. It's the only solution to this intense cold. Something's got to be done. We can't go on like this. - Withnail

The bitters on the left look like something grandma used for headaches
