It's also Virginia Woolf day. I Like a lot of literary Facebook pages and today I got about 8 or 9 posts about Woolf, and only 1 for Burns, and the Burns post was more about haggis than Burns.

Virginia Woolf recommended that women drink wine regularly in one of her essays (was it Room of One's Own? I can't remember right now) so I think she should be welcomed into the drunkard literary canon. Not right next to Bukowski, of course, but still...
