drunk alone and happy

Post by tipsymonkey »

so i'm done with trolling this board, i feel that i have to open and share.

here i am, in my underware sitting drinking my second 40 and I have one thing to say!

THANK GOD 40s were made.

I am ususally a steel reserve type of guy. Ususally I will drink 2 of these and i'm good and feeling happy. But today i decided to try something different.

Today I got me Camo xxXxx. I have one thing to say about that and its 'wow'. I bought a camo xxXxx because i saw that i was 8.5% instead of the normal 8.1% of steel reserve that i am used to. I have to say that the store did have Camo xxXxx Ice which was 9.0 but they came in 24, and well i'm sorry if i'm going to by a 24 i'm going to get 4 and well what ever cheaper to get 2 forties. So i sat here, and started drinking the camo and half way thgough something happened that hasn't happened in a long time

I was halfway through the 40 and i felt tipsy. I litereally felt tipsy! i was amazed I'm no light weight so this was a great surprise to me. I finished that 40 and started my second. Long story short, I got the camo in san francisco and the second 40 in south bay area. I couldn't find another camo, so since I was a pussy I ended up getting a cobra instead of another camo.

So here I am, alone in my apartment, drnking my cobra 40, watching family guy and I feel so great!!!

Now, I must ask a favor. I bought the camo in san francisco, and I live in the southbay around sunnyvale. So I'm asking/begging, where can I find another camo here in the south bay.

but oh man, i love the malt liquor, love it. and wow i found my new drink!

i'm now a steel reserve and camo type of guy!!

Hey Tipsy! I was in your neck of the woods just a few days ago. Spent Friday night at the Four Points Sheraton after a day at Great America. I myself live up near Chico. Anyway, welcome to the board (posting-wise). I'm new too. Wish I could help ya with your search. Maybe the best thing is to just call around. Don't you have like a Beverages And More down there or something similar? Good luck on your quest!

The title of this thread sums up what I'm now missing for the next 3 weeks. The folks decided to plant their asses in my place as a mini-vacation. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see the rents and I'm still drinking, but Mom is driving me crazy with those crazy stares of disapprovement. Leave me the fuck alone and all will be well. I need a vacation from their vacation.

Good god get this man a bourbon !

Thankfully, my parents live just far enough away (about 1 1/2 hours) that I see them often but not that often. Plus, they don't need to stay at my house, they can drive home.

My mother in law, on the other hand, visits often and DOES stay with us.

I'll take the bourbon! And on top of that they're coming back for 2 weeks for Xmas. On the flip side though, Dad gets bored aside from putting a dent in my keg that he wants to do things around the house. Suits me fine! Assemble that grill! Stain the fence! Install some 1/4" round in the kitchen! It's a trade-off.

Shit I have a yard full of rolling iron. I'm very good at acquiring cars, not so good at getting rid of them. Right now I have

1980 VW cabriolet (this is my restoration project)
1985 Ford F150 (for plowing and hauling junk around)
1987 VW GTI which I need to do some work on and send down the road
1992 Ford Explorer (given to me for free, which I also need to send down the road)
1993 BMW 325is which is what I'm driving

Oh, and an 81 Kawasaki GPZ550, just for those nice summer days.

Sounds like you got your hands full. Good luck with the restoration and disposal process.

I loooves me some 40s. Unfortunately you can't get much more than the usual OE, Schlitz Bull, and the occassional Mickeys around here. I did find some Steel Reserve 24s but that's about the best I could do.

Yeah, send your old man up when you're through with him, I got a floorpan that needs to go in that VW so I can sell it already.
