Sorry for bumping such a late post, but: After reading this post (1:40am, drinking for 2 hours now)...
I feel so much happier that I'm not alone. I knew people drank for the sake of drinking: But I've never seen so many REAL people!

This looks like an awesome forum. I hope there's room for AMERICAN (Texan!) drinkers? :)
Sshh... Now that most of them have passed out, I'll let you in on a little secret: we're not real. We're just a figment of your drunkimation

You're never really drinking alone as long as the voices in your head are still talking.

I don't need conversation as long as I have hand tools, or even power tools if I'm feeling frisky

I love love love drinking alone. I love being social and drinking and hosting parties and drinking, but wow do I love drinking alone. The bartender knows your name and your pour and the DJ is a god among men.

The voices tell me that this is the absolute truth. I asked the voices if they'd like a drink.. the reply was "Yes, you do."

Animal, mineral, or vegetable? Or is it first come, first served?

The voices in my head are back to back with pistols high. Their seconds stand nervously by as they await the command and count of twenty paces...

It oughta be a fantastic weekend.

Glass is empty, more later unless I get lost between here and the liquor pantry...

I grew up with Lady Lee brand milk; it was from Lucky's, which no longer exists here. We had cartons just like that in the fridge throughout my younger years.
