a nice big glass of beer and tomato juice with a little texas pete. i only recently gave bloody beer a try, but i'm very fond of it.

Watch-out for that one Patchez. The Mad Elf is far too smooth for the alcohol content that it has (11%). Also, if you have patience, put a few of those in yur cellar or cool closet for 6-12 months. The Cherry flavors really come out after a little aging.

Elbling (from Remich) as nightcap. Yes I know, that lovely "sour" wine is perhaps more of a summer drink but screw that, I like it. As an aside, speaking of times of the year and the drinks associated with them: Glühwein season has officially started!:)
