No. Toast, like you said, always makes a bunch of crumbs, and then the roaches, usually the big fuckers, scurry around on the kitchen floor and table top at night to eat them. I wouldn’t care, but I try to keep my beer in the fridge, which is in the kitchen, so I spot the roaches with my flashlight when I go fetch another beer. So I quit toasting any bread.

Disturbingly, he's not actually wearing a t-shirt. What you are seeing are the remnants of a white cotton t-shirt sewn into a denim vest. Why? Well, the dude still wants to show off the bearskin rug on his chest, but he still needs a place to roll up his pack of Marbs after he's done eating his Big Macs and beating the shit out of Hunter S. Thompson for stalking him all over the place.
