I've Been Served!

So I'm sitting at one of Burlington Vermont's finer brewpub-type establishments (American Flatbread) tonight and my wife arrives to share a couple of pints and a pizza.

She's driving (and about half my weight) so there's a limit to how much she can drink. By the time she showed up, I was ahead of her by 2 or 3 pints.

She downed a pint of some sort of black-looking cask ale. I sampled it and it was good.

Halfway through her second pint (house-brewed ESB) she announced she couldn't possibly finish the drink (and still drive) and ordered me to finish it.

Me: What makes you think I'm going to finish your beer?
Her: I'm driving your ass home.
Me: So I have to drink half your pint as punishment?
Her: Yes!

Oh the horror...

American Flatbread...is that the one in Burlington? I've been there...lol.

Yep! They're getting better with the beer, too. The best selection in the city as far as I'm concerned.
