In truth, I was going to go to work tomorrow but I only had paperwork to do. That I can do from my domicile.

They say I should be empowered. So, I empowered myself to "work" from home tomorrow and not take vacation time for it.

The rules will change. I may work but henceforth it shall be legal to consume alcohol while doing so!

I took some vacation last week to go see the parents... That was fun. Three day work week followed by another few days off. Not too shabby, although all this Christmas stuff to get done sucks as much as working, really.

Easier the past few years when I only had to get drunk for Christmas.

But better with a family of sorts, even if unofficial.

A third of us are expected to pile into stores today for what's expected to be the busiest shopping day of the year.
Visa Canada claims almost eight million Canadians still haven't finished their holiday shopping, and will spend over two billion dollars today picking up those gifts.

Visa also says Canadian workers will be taking more time off during this Christmas season.

Workers in BC are expected to take 9 days off, while those in Atlantic Canada will enjoy an estimated 19 days away from the office.

3 day weekend coming up, and all bosses are gone next week. being as it's about 50 yards from my office to the gas station on the corner, I think I'll be taking a lot of brew strolls next week.
