I have become so sick of Will Ferrall that I can't watch that movie any more.
You know what I think every time that I see a commercial for Drillbot Taylor? That if I was the president, I'd make a decree that the following people would be banned from making movies: Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller.

Your celluloid (DVD, whatever) compass if it's pointin' ol' school should point to Mel Brooks' original Producers with Zero and Gene (or alright, pretty much anything Master Brooks has committed to film/scrawled on a bathrooom wall); anything Marx Brothers, nearly anything Stooges (okay - the compass would have to have a really, REALLY OLD, school heading).

I have experienced equal paroxysms of hilarity with Old School, Knocked Up and Superbad.

Not for nothin' - isn't almost any movie funny when you're drinkin'?

I'd have to disagree with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn not being good playing funny roles. Will Ferrell can be funny when he has some smaller or supporting roles but when he's the main dude like in Anchorman it sucks and gets old after 10 minutes. I don't think too much of Ben Stiller either but he was pretty funny in Dodgeball.

I sought out Beer League because of this post. Got it at Amazon for only $1.98 plus $3.50 shipping. That's not much more than a rental. Anyway, it's very funny, but I wouldn't say better than Beerfest. It's certainly easier to relate to a bunch of guys who grew up together playing in a softball league than a bunch of guys competing in an underground secret drinking olympics.

The thing about Beer League is, you really have to watch it drunk. I've watched it undrunk and found it a lightly amusing comedy. Watched it drunk with drunk friends and laughed nearly constantly from the first frame to the end.

you clearly have not seen "blades of glory."
and "zoolander" is gawldern hilarious. ben stiller is funny when he's not playing the tragically dorky romantic comedy guy.

I offer up the Jackass movies. Dipshits making money off of things we do drunk, for free.

Zoolander was a hoot, and try the 2nd Rambo movie.
With Rambo, drink as follows

Kill with knife=5 drinks
Kill with Bow and Arrow= 4 drinks
Kill with incendiary device= 3 drinks
Kill with guns/ammo=2 drinks
Take a shot when Johnny R. incorrectly defines the word "expendable."

This will get you where you want to be.

"The Party", starring peter Sellars (@1967). In incompetent fuck-up of an actor (Sellars) accidently gets invited to an A-List Hollywood party.

But be careful; it can make beer come out of your nose.
