At my regular a bar rum (which just so happens to be Castillo Silver--and they do a nice heavy pour) and coke sets me back $2.50, and draft Miller or Bud light is $1.25. I believe they charge more for Labatt's, which is why we always skip over to our #2 bar for the dollar pints when we are in a beery mood. This is in the U.P. of MI.
Prices do vary a bit around here, but there is no way in hell I could ever afford to drink out if I had to pay $12.00 a drink!
expensive drinks.

The cabin sits shut-down, cold-frozen and empty, dead mice in the traps, waiting for me to drink alone there in the dark.

Some of you guys are making me jealous. My usuals at my usual places are around $5-7 for a well rum & coke, $6-9 for my beloved Bacardi & coke and $9-$15 for my Grey Goose, rocks and a twist. Beer, which I usually avoid, starts at $4-$6.

I try to stick to the bars where the draught beers are in the $2-4 range.
The corner bar down the street that I recently started frequenting has draughts for $1.50 for PBR and $1.75 for everything else.
I think I found me a new bar.

Downtown San Diego is pricey, but I don’t mind paying the “prefect weather and hot chicks” tax.Rumhead wrote:Your usual places obviously suck ass.pr0ject2501 wrote:Some of you guys are making me jealous. There are about 4 or five that I have frequented over the last year. The one that I used to work : prices = ;), Cahoots: BBC Alt pint = 2.50, Jameson rocks or neat= 3.50 (I think), Barret Bar and the Back Door, a Turkey 101 rocks is about 5 bones.
Speedway or Chevron : 40oz = around $2, 30 pack of High Life = around $16.

i went to the y-not the other night. cheap cheap cheap. every place i have been to has been cheaper than the place i went to the other morning. the one i went to was a little upscale for my tastes..but it was the closest w/in walking distance. on the other hand, you can still SMOKE INSIDE HERE so it more than makes up for paying a couple of extra bucks. and since they play so much dice here, odds are you are going to get a couple of free shots everytime you go out. and they regularly give 'buy backs' which is always nice.

This great hole in the wall joint down the street from me has $1 pitchers of Bud on Mondays from 9 to close. Tuesday's are typically, like today, hangover "fuck I hate my head" day's.

Sure, that's easy for someone like you, what with your GQ model looks and your smooth as silk charm. But for a nitwit fatbody like myself, it can be tough.Mayhem wrote:Get someone else to pay. Problem solved.
