How many of you have attended something like this? I myself have been to Bonnaroo 2004, 2006, 2007, and am going again this year.
I love the freedom! You can do whatever you want as long as it's not violent, basically. The cops are looking to prevent riots. There are all kinds of places set up to help you chill out if you've "had too much", and the opportunity to see the variety of live music a festival offers is a great value for the price.
Yeah, of course you can get any drug you want. But most people stick to booze and pot.
And they have a BROOERS tent set up with local craft beers. First time I tried Magic Hat was at the 04 bonnaroo, and I was BLOWN AWAY by the crazy flavors.
So, anybody been to something like this?
