I'm not qualified to give you the standard introduction package, but there are examples earlier in this thread (such as when I joined).

Be well, enjoy yourselves, and DRINK!
My thanks for the gracious welcoming.

As for a drink, Friday night and we're putting the kids to bed as I type this. Various bottles lurk on the sideboard awaiting violation. Maybe a round of Game of Thrones drinking game to fill out the evening.

A welcome from Mr. booznik indicates that you, Rev. Dead Corpse,

well,

you have come to the right vessel.

Now, the new guy buys the first round.

I'll have a bottle of dark and spicy rum, and also, cheap beer, like our buddy oettinger does.

Cheers!

I have half a bottle Sailor Jerry's, a full 1.75 of 100 Proof Capt. Morgan, and a 12 of Shiner.

Will that do for starters?

Very nice indeed. Sailor's for the flavor at the start, 100 proof to get sailing, and I'll fill the main with Kraken, an acquired taste. Thank you and well met.

DRINK!

Shiner Bock is Texas, and Texas is big, and Texans don't call 911, they shoot first and wait for the deputies to show up.

Sailor Jerry's is better than it should be for the price, always has since it was intro'd.

Currently preferring the Kraken, but SJ gets respect.

Anyone with a handle of Morgan 50% knows what boozing is all about.

Immediately following the instructions for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch is a recipe for the Holy Brain Grenade of Antioch.

Vodka, brandy, kahlua, cinnamon schnapps... Cross yourself and shoot...

Repeat until confessional starts to seem like a good idea.

Howdy folks,

New here. Stopped drinking for three months but coming home soon! My favorite thing to do in the world is drink cheap vodka, play Halo, and listen to trance music. I've traveled the world, I've seen successes, I've loved and lost some beautiful women, but nothing's better than being in my drunken sanctuary.

Glad I finally found a forum that wasn't about recovery when googling "alcohol". Skal!

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have indeed recovered. It was a close one, wasn't it? Now raise your glass and toast to the battle against them damned Dries.

Cheers!

Haha found some funny drunk stories

Post by JamesWood »

First post here. Hello, from Oregon!

Was browsing the kindle store, found some funny short stories called "It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time." Writing could be better but some pretty funny stuff for like a buck. Reminds me of some of the stuff i use to do back in the "glory" days.

Hello all,

I have been a long time off and on lurker who has decided (drunkenly) to finally join.
I love Bourbon and Beer and that's about it.

Have a good-un!
