It was a ball! Good crowd, good music, good times! In the spirit of the occasion I threw a coupla mai tais into the rotation to accompany the voddie drinks, threw back a handful of shots of some blue concoction - have no friggin' idea what was in it - but neither did the owners - so that's always good.
However, the best part of the night was the DD I received shortly after I arrived home...

Most Waynes are assholes. Especially assholes with Wayne as a middle name. John Wayne Gacy and Kenny Wayne Shepard come to mind...
But wait, there's more:
I always avoid talkin' to this particular Wayne. Just exchange niceties 'cuz he's a friend of friends - I'm not a complet asshole, ya know. Supposedly he's a great guy - but my gut tells me not so much - and my gut has NEVER been wrong with that stuff (taking no credit - it's a genetic gift from my maternal Grandma).
And this Wayne is no exception. Fuckin' guy burnt his house down.

What a boor! The nerve of him yacking during a yanks-Sox game. During the break I'd have asked what you thought about the greatest upset in the history of professional sports in the AL playoffs of 2004.
