well since savage aain't around, i have this small window to tell this sotyr. for two whole weeks starraight i been sick with gastroparesis - be ye he forewrned diaabetic drunkards! it's awful to go thru, anyhow i come out of this sickness on the sunday, lo spring! and i eat and cook. monday, yesterday, very rough in the morn but back on the horse slowly with mims, etc. then today fine, fit as ever, make a 30 dollar schlepp fpr a fellow, and figure great, fell okay! off to the city - so i shower, get all cleaned up, shave, put on my finest cloths caouse i hardly been oout of bed in two weeks and i shine my shoes, all! and, well, i never get mail. but what the fuck chuck? let's us look inside, - what is thi with all the stamps? wekk yeath sirs and madams - it was #56. i took this as a sign of spring, and tucked it under my arm and walked up grace street, feeling better than ever. couldn't fuckin believe it. ear to ear i was, folks couldn't understatn. merci, fkr and crew. i took it all around nb and chinatown, union square and the bart. here it sits to m left, ranin splaterd and dog eared, but whole.

i did a little painting once as homage to duchamp called "gahe descending a mountain". everyone said it would look better bigger. i couldn't understand.
