I have jury duty this week. I will check in tomorrow evening to see if I have reporting instructions the next day. Hopefully my number doesn't come up and end up going in on Friday with small chance of new trial starting up. I just don't want to go to downtown L.A. courthouses. Give me the 'burbs!

today is october the 3rd our german national holiday celebrating our unification.

When I was young I would`ve been pissed that it happened to be on sunday. Nowadays not so much, I can sleep all monday anyway.

these last two days or nights have been weird for me sleep-wise. Drinking all night and sleeping all day.

Today I rightened the ship a little by getting up before noon.

When I'm at sea, but the glorious months I'm at home, not so much, at times I toast the rising sun with a Whiskey, other days I'm still in my undershorts and making a bloody maria at 1632, I've made first call in bars as well as last call, I've sat up, sipping The Water Of Life, watching the sleeping city.

Yes, it was a traumatic Sunday. The Chargers and the Dodgers lost. I'm drinking extra heavy to finish a besotted day starting in early afternoon and now extending into the late hours. See you next week!

Are you folks familiar with sniffing salt. Yeah, that`s what it was like. Got my hungover ass on it`s feet immediatly.
I had to head to the kitchen and mix a white russian to get that smell out of my nostrils.
