I'm also from TO.Around the same time period you mentioned I had a bum on Yonge St who hit me up as I was walking into a Beckers, he wanted me to buy him a can of Lysol .I kid you not this Hobo had a big old twist nail hanging from a string around his neck like a necklace.After buying him the Lysol I watched as he used the nail to puncture the can to get rid of the gas.I had to leave so I never saw him drinking.I wonder if my Hobo and your Hobo were the same person?

I'd always heard the term "Brazen hussy". According to your description of a hussy, if correct, would mean that calling someone a "Brazen hussy" would be akin to calling someone a "Slutty Slut".
