With vodka at it's core (35% abv).
Some find it cloying while others would rather drink Drambuie.
However, I've found it enjoyable mixed with the right whiskeys at the right ratios.
For example: (4) parts Old Overholt Rye to (1) part Bärenjäger, add a dash of bitters and (1) ice cube.
