Certain medical conditions require a close monitoring of carb intake. Cheap ass rum + regular coke will put you into a coma much, much faster than cheap ass rum and diet coke. And nobody likes a coma. It tends to be a buzz kill.

I like many drinks from both lists, certainly never bound by rules on what to drink. I do however follow the MDM rule of not drinking from a straw. I'll used it to stir and then sip from the rim

I was going to suggest the blow job shot and the Smirnoff Ice/Mike's Hard Lemonade. I can't drink that stuff. It upsets my stomach and I get a killer headache. WAY too sweet.

The diet coke part actually doesn't make sense to me at all. Not about the calorie watching, but because diet coke with liquor actually intensifies your drunk.
