The excellent and highly nerdy Carl Sagan (RIP) had a great show named Cosmos, and that will be replaced by Neil deGrasse Tyson next year.

Thoughts?
Here is the "official" Fox preview. It seems that they have stuck, more or less, to the same script and just updated the CGI. Which leaves one wondering, why couldn't they have kept Carl Sagan's voiceovers?

It all seems a bit "George Lucas*" to me...

*"George Lucas" Eng. verb, To George Lucus; to unnecessarily fuck around with something that was good to begin with.

The Question (one of my favourite superheroes) explains some weird stuff.

And Lex Luthor demonstrates how bad he is...

And Superman pisses on the "Special Relationship", which (thank you USA for the stuff and staff that helped us kick Hitler's donkey) always sounded like something that a creepy uncle would say.

Pehaps she's hoping that we'll all feel like listening to it again 20 minutes later...

I've lived thru a couple of major tremors. Fortunately I was no where near epicenter but highways got smacked. That's what they are saying about the oarfish. I say it's US Navy testing sonar acoustics on the oceans shaking out the vulnerable animals including marine mammals. The earthquake correlation from Japan is bogus because it was almost a year for the association of events.
