Went to the Dr...

Post by MORRISON »

on Friday for a follow up. Well my blood work came back and my liver is not happy. He says that it is working about three times as hard as it should be. He told me to stop drinking. I went home and got hammered.

I say take away the time clock. Damn complainer. Your liver ought to be glad to have a job!! Times are hard.

Keep up the good work!! Just like anything else your liver needs plenty of exercise to stay in shape. Your liver can do three times the work of a normal, weak liver! That's amazing! Soon your liver will be able to do the work of several livers. You should be very proud.

Yeah, good point.

A distended liver would be really cool to show off at the bar.

Your liver shouldn't be working at all. I pickled mine years ago and never heard any complaints from it.

A toast to you and your hard working liver. "I'd rather be a good liver than have one!" [clink]

That's why I don't go to the doctor.

I like a cold beer now and then but it doesn't do the trick for me anymore.

I have a friend who was given 1 year to live if he didn't stop drinking. That was 10 years ago and he still downs double Bacardi's as if they are going to run out any minute.
But if you are going to go, go out enjoying yourself
beer, wine, voddie it don't get any better.
