i am piled in hawaii right now. I am drinking Zaya luxery guatemalen Rum ( http://www.bilgemunky.com/reviews/rum/zaya.html ) and Kona Golden ale. having a good time, looking out at the ocean/\ beats wisconsin. i love you all. cheers.

What Island? If it's Oahu, you'll run across some of my old stomping grounds. Have a plate lunch and some manapua, and make it a point to find a good saimin stand.

I heartily concur with the plate lunch suggestion; might I reccommend the Chicken Katsu and Teriyaki Steak at L&L Drive-In. Also, the baked BBQ Pork Buns from Patti's Chinese Kitchen are just awesome.

I have never been to Hawaii, though my daughter and son-in-law currently reside there, courtesy of the USMC. I must say, however, that your link made me happy. Soon the hot weather will be upon us--rum drinking time. I'm thinking my famous killer Daiquiris. Oh hell yeah.

Fuck. I am at Kaanapali Beach in Maui. Lahaina is about 5 minites from here. that sucks dude. I would have bought you a drink for sure :cry:
