her name is boston and she is a beagle. she's only 10 months old and i get to pick her up tomorrow. now all i need is a sidecar so she can go to the bar with me.

Good for you DePAW. Just keep the little bugger on a lead or you'll posting wanted signs instead of picking up dog poop. I've never seen a breed that was more likely to take off on an owner than the beagle. They are hound dogs at heart and once they get wind of something they like the smell of, they're outta there unless you keep them on a leash. I can't tell you how many people I know who have had beagles take off on them. At the very least, make sure you buy her a collar with an engraved ID tag so if she does take off, whoever finds her will know where she belongs.
