Weird thing

Post by Savage »

We just got dinged by our insurance company for being in an accident last month. Weird thing? There was no accident. The day they say it happened, I was home cooking, and the old man came home early from work, sick as a dog.

It is amazing how these things happen. My bank have been removing money from my account at an alarming rate. When I had the sheer nerve to ask them why they were doing this, I was primly informed that it wasn't really any of my business and that I had agreed to let them do as they wished with my account in a meeting that I attended with them on 19th August. Which really is rather interesting as I know (and my passport and US immigration will back me up) that I was some 4,500 miles away in VA, USA, at the time. Just got to love those financial institutions and their keen grip on providing service to the folks that really matter, i.e. the directors and the shareholders.

Well, was that one of the days you tried to burn the homestead down? I mean, accidently left something cooking on the stove? Maybe Grumpy is trying to teach you a lesson.

That was my bad. I accidentally gave them your policy number after crashing through the front window of, what else, a liquor store.
why is my moral compass always pointed east? that's the direction of the nearest liquor store.
