If the existance of the Higgs Field could be proven, then could the experiments of Eugene Podkletnov in 1996 be improved upon to develop anti-gravity techonology?
Lala demands to know.

Lala should already know.

I believe that's correct.

I don't know much about Eugene Podkletnov or hi experiments, but the fact that from what little i've read just now says his results are as yet unreproducable leads me to cast doub on it.
As for the Higgs field, again this i just from reading now, but this seems interesting:
"In empty space, the Higgs field acquires a non-zero value, which permeates every place in the universe at all times. This vacuum expectation value (vev) of the Higgs field is constant and equal to 246 GeV. The existence of this non-zero vev plays a fundamental role: it gives mass to every elementary particle, including to the Higgs boson itself"
Which leads me to say that while the proof of the existence of the Higgs Boson/Field would be very important and may help form part of a G.U.T, i don't think it will help with levitation etc. But don't quote me on that, this is on 10 minutes of skim reading, i'll have to read more about it.

And yet I can't name the episodes in which that or this happened. I also can't make my Razor phone transmit pictures. But I liked the mag when it was in existance.

This is why I want to make sweet, sweet love to Dan. A hot Psychics major who drinks, what else could I want? ;)dan_uk wrote:I don't know much about Eugene Podkletnov or hi experiments, but the fact that from what little i've read just now says his results are as yet unreproducable leads me to cast doub on it.

No, that's a Higgens field, which is more powerfull than a Higgs firld.steved wrote:Is the Higgs Field the force that perpetually tormented Magnum in his attempts to make off with the Ferrari?
