You need some kind of private license where I work now to drive one.

In my youth we'd be having people hang on the backside for counterbalance and if it were after lunch the driver would almost certainly be stoned.

Thank god for that spambot reviving this thread. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten to see Klaus again, and relive my own forklift driving escapades.
Wasn't drunk, as i was 19-20 at the time, but damn, was I hung over.
