I don't know about you all, but I am the purchasing agent for the Department of Chaos. Please fill out out your five-colored copy sheets, with a black or dark blue pen, on a hard surface. I am so tired of getting forms that are not legible past the first two or three pages. People, remember, if you don't submit your forms properly, you will remain in order.

Bur, my friend, that is what iPods, Walkman and (yeah, I'm going to go old school) books were invented for; turn up, tune out and drink 'til you fall over.

There you go. That or pick a bar with Wi-Fi.

It'll be so frigging crowded I'll be lucky to catch enough space to lay my bottom on. Maybe just few quick pints in a bar with terrace w/smoking.

Frigging frig. Somehow I thought 3 liters of wine, sixer of beer and half a bottle of whisky would be enough for a saturday. Proves what I know, I suppose.

I did suggest that you get to the liquor store.

One of these days someone may actually listen to me...Occasionally I know what I am talking about.

Always plan ahead, my friend.

Drinking is a lot cheaper and safer at home. It's a dangerous world out there unless you are in a rural area. Had to do some heavy lifting today for extended period and my back and legs are spasm and pain. Will crash and burn early tonight. Body is just begging for rest. Just a shadow of my former self. The drinks are easing... too exhausted to fix dinner...

Life without books, (made of paper and leather and so forth) is too dreadful to contemplate. I am never so much at peace as when I sit in my library (on my parent's castoff loveseat that my stepson vomited on, after drinking a large amount of stolen liquor) (but it's okay, because I scrubbed it and covered it with a purple velour slipcover) (which one of my darling daughters tore up a bit) but hey, it works. And the important thing is the books. (And the gargoyles and witches and Ouija boards and crystal balls and Matroyoshka dolls and all that other stuff.
The tarot cards have been moved up a flight.

When life gives you lemons you punch it in the face and demand scotch.

I really prefer bourbon over scotch, but it makes a lovely drink in the summer heat, lemonade and Makers.

There are some really dumb people around and I'm sure they don't drink because they would end up killing themselves. This screenshot has been making the rounds of some really brilliant Twitter type tweets on Thurs. July 4th 2013.
