That makes two of us. I had never heard of Hamm's before this forum.

A bartender at the main dive in town is always sporting a Hamm's shirt. God damn beer hipsters.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Easy there, cupcake. Truth be told, I don't drink Hamm's for any sort of hipness factor. I drink it because it's cheap and easy to guzzle. You can get a 30 pack for well under $20 and doesn't have that wierd, funky twat flavor you find in whoreshit beers such as Old Milwaukee or, worse yet, Milwaukee's Best.

Until about 15 years ago you could get a 30 pack of Pabst for $15. Then the hipsters got ahold of it and drove the price up. I expressed this concern with my local drive thru owner and he asks if I has ever had Hamm's. I said yeah way back in the day but I didn't even think they still made it. He says Hell yea and it's $15/30 pack, just got it in stock. So I switched to the beer refreshing, soon became my favorite cheap watery domestic beer, and also furthered my quest to find an alcoholic cure for gout.
Also, I have a Hamm's uniform type work shirt straight from the Miller brewery in Milwaukee, which happens to be my favorite beer guzzling shirt. I ain't no fuckin hipster, its the price point and the fact that it is easily slammable.

think a24suitcase is around $20 at my store. PBR has no brewery and it's gotten way too expensive

Bells Two Hearted IPA

Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Good thing I can tolerate the Ribbon.

Since most festivals pre "shit hit the fan" days.

It was the only beer under $12 per 14 oz pour.

Came in a 24 oz can for $7

Festivals are a bad place to get shit faced

For the high-end and I do mean high, bought a 12oz. bottle of Firestone barleywine on sale for half price. So, I paid $10 for it. I guess that makes it high end. It was delightful. It was like the chocolate sundae of beers. I would pour it over ice cream or maybe even pancakes. I'm not kidding. Follow it with a big cigar of your liking and you are living large!

sorry for necroposting/bumping some olllll shit....but great topic and I'm sure i never posted on it originally.

it's a really tough question and i'm sure you'd get a different answer from me next month or even tomorow.....but still..

high end i'll take a nice big, thick, soupy, hazy double IPA....nothing too bitter and west coast. a big massive juice bomb with plenty of great mother alchohol inside. Faced with choosing one beer I'll go with a huge glass of Verdant - Pulp...if we had a time machine for the experient then i'll take 2021 vintage but as IPA's age like Mediteranian women I'll have a freshy.

low end..for years I'd have been pressed between Stella and Grolsch...I still would if i lived on the continent or one of the miriad of other places where they are both served to their original recipe...unfortunately that isn't the case in the UK.....for cheapness points and taste factored in I'm hard pressed to not go with Aldi's "German" lager Rheinbacher...It's dirt dirt cheap like everything else at that store and actually tastes really decent. If I'm gonna choose a well known macro I'd prob go for Carlsberg Export...still tastes great and still cheap.it's a bread in a glass..like full wedge of seeded wholemeal bread.
