Odd you should say that. I was enjoying a free pint of Sierra at the time. Courtesy of the bartender who used to be my neighbor.
I know you like the Sierra, and Ruiner needs a kick to the jimmies.
Drink your fucking drink, how about that? Stop the fuckin' presses, isn't it genius??

I drink Coors Light, but not because it's good. It's cheap and tasteless, so when I consume it with shots of whiskey, I'm not wasting money on a good beer that I probably won't taste anyways.

There seems to be a growing trend sweeping the nation....it's like an inverse of the beer snobbery equation. He who whorships the cheapest beer wins.

I just don't understand such enthusiasm for brand loyalty. Yes, yes, we get it. You REALLY like cheap shitty beer. You've got the hat, the t-shirt and the beer cozy to prove it. Congratulations. Now shut the fuck up as hard as you can and drink quietly.

FYI: Coors Light = Keystone Light @ twice the price less the stupid ad campaign. If you are already drinking Coors Light, it's not much of a downgrade.

As would I.

I really don't enjoy Coors Light. If someone hands me one, and there's no other beer, I'll drink it. Just like I would a Corona. Most likely, there's other beer available. Coors tastes very very bland, and I actually enjoy the taste of shitty beers. I'm by no means a beer snob, that's just my opinion. I can't stand the stuff. Also, the Raiders fans love Coors. Fuck the Raiders.

I think all "Light" or "Lite" beer should be simply renamed "diet". Then you wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. Even an asshole isn't going to mosey up to a reputable bar and say "Hey Mac, pour me a pint of that Diet Bud there."

OK, maybe a completely unrepentant asshole would, but at least then you could appropriately judge them as that instead of some clueless idiot who bought into the entire light beer bullshit.

Maybe if they just put the regular beer tap there and put a water tap next to it........

I have my opinions, but ultimately, there are drys and non-drys. If they're drinking, they're an ally (temporarily, at least).

On a related note, I was at a hockey game today, and the only beers were Bud, Bud Light, and Michelobe Ultra.

I drank soda.

Curb Feeler, what I don't understand, is why not just drink Coors Original? It's generally cheaper, and it certainly has more alcohol content - which is not to mention the arguable taste benefits....

It's not available at my local watering holes. I live in the Peoples Socialist Republic of California.

I rate bad beers by how many bottles/cans/drafts of decent beer I have to have in me before I can switch to the swill.

American bottled Heineken is a solid "3", for instance. There's a Belgian pilsner called Martens that is a "2" -- it has a metallic aftertaste on tap or in a bottle.

Coors Lite rates about a "4" (the only "5" was Olympia).

I thought they were hauling original Coors, but I could be wrong. This requires further research.
