Mainly do they have any intention of releasing a batch of the original recipe, I'm missing Finlandia in my cocktails, Smirnoff just ain't the same.

They're aware of it, but have made no comments regarding it. Once Im at a proper keyboard, I'll have to post my story about e-mailing the customer service representative over there. We had an exchange going that lasted a couple of months.

I don't know if BF ever said that they polled their customers. I thikn that they said that their market research said that the majority of hard liquor consumers "preferred" (a word used in marketing spin that really means that that is what they buy the most,) alcholhol that was 80 proof and that was why they lowered it. Spurious logic, really. The vast majority of hard liquor is 80 proof. Therefore, the most that is sold is 80 proof. Therefore, that is what most people buy. Therefore, 80 proof is what the marketting wonks say that most people prefer.
THAT is what really gets me: hidding behind the lies. I don't think that there would be this uproar, here, if it wasn't for the lies. Just come out and say that you wanted to boost profits.
