The Missus and me, her knitting, me watching Twilight Zone marathon. Watched a couple of Fraggle Rock episodes from the dvd box set I gave her for the seventh day of Hanukkah. Turned on the NYE specials, the one on Fox was absolutely insipid and appeared that a speech impediment was necessary to be on-camera talent, and Dick Clark appeared to be wearing a mask on ABC. Ball drops, and we drink this:

We had the anti-Quiet NYE. It has, somehow, become a tradition to invite all of our friends and their curtain climbers, over to our place. We had about 25 screaming, running, fighting, crying ankle biters, trashing my abode.

They all had a great time and I'm happy to play host, but man, I couldn't even sit down long enough to catch a buzz until everybody left, around 1:15. So, today I have declared my laid back NYE. I'm watching Bowl games and drinking steadily.
