Know from whence you're comin'. Did a spot of the unemployed meself a few years ago - about 13 months. Glorious as it was to be freed from the soulless minions of hell known to the public as KPMG, and I was really sick at the time so the timing was perfect - it was nice to start gettin' a paycheck again. Even though, apparently, stultifying boredom is part of my current job description, the checks clear, which enables me to purchase an endless river of hooch for myself and those I care most about. Which is what I'm sure you're doing with your newfound wealth.

I'll buy us both a drink! Congratulations! Now raise that glass and breathe that sigh of relief you've been lookin' forward to all during your worrisome period of unemployment! Slainte!

I'm 6 mo's. out from a 20yr. Wall St stint of sweet cash flow. I know where you are coming from. I had the advantage of knowing over a year in advance of my fate. (Anyone remember Bear Stearns). Today I'm free from those fucking assholes and I am looking to work as a blue collar guy to be free of the fascist crap that has enveloped the financial realm. Hope you have not entered there. You will be cannon fodder, believe me. I would rather drink dirty water and sleep in a hollow log than go back to those butt fucking pirates.We are all going to pay for them thru taxes up the ass. I took my money and bought a shit load of gold and will hold out somehow. I suggest you do the same with any spare cash after the whiskey of course. That comes first!
