I was asked recently by one of my eight bosses to describe what life is like at my job. I replied, "This place is a nexus of stupidity around which reason and common sense swirl in towards their tragic and utter demise."

What has two thumbs and won't be recommended for advancement any time soon? This guy.

Who picked up two cases of Guinness, and a case of 25oz Fosters Premium for $30, thus being "A-OK" with the aforementioned reversal of fortunes? This guy, as well.

Same here, fortunately the rotten bastard can't replace me for less than about $1500 and it might take about a month, so I get away with a bit of shit.

You haven't worked in the corporate world. Most of these managerial assholes worry about being shot after they fire folks. The odds are increasing. They keep firing folks and we are left to burn. It's only a matter of time ...
