Agreed. I have been inundated with suggested destinations for trips in 2012, and Finland may be as good as any.
Cheers for the DD!

I love the idea of Finland (if anything else I have never been to there and endless night has something appealing) but budget wise, it might not be such a good idea: I hear alcohol is awfully expensive there. We'd rather pay 200 euros euros on a flight to eastern Europe if after that the drinking and accommodation altogether only cost us 50 euros a night.Shane's Dentist wrote:Agreed. I'm just saying.

Some local microbrew my boss brought in. He's a pretty cool dude, maybe I'll do some actual work... next week.

Re: What are you drinking right now?
There is no such thing as "brandy". And it's not your responsibility there. I'm not trying to be snob. There is only Cognac. They invented the word "brandy" way later as an excuse for bad distillation. I fuck brandy, I'd drink brandy right now, but I fuck it nonetheless, and conversely.Bluto wrote:Tea, but I seem to out of brandy so I'm looking for something else spruce it up a bit.

I have eaten leaves and needles from many trees as the MWI attendees can confirm, but I would not advise spruce, unless you know some strange recipe, in which case I am listening.Mr. Viking wrote:have you tried spruce leaves?

Now I'm the one who's lost: I'm French and didn't get the play on words. I'll research that though.Mr. Viking wrote:no, just a shit play on words, have you tried adding rum, makes what the Uk army call gunfire
