Decided it was a good day to kill off my bottle of blue label Dickel. Like a fancy tasting version of the white label. Hate to see it go but fuck is it good.

Nice. How does this one compare to the Dickel no. 12? Might have to keep an eye out for it.

I'm drinking some Colorado straight bourbon from Woody Creek. Also picked up a pint of Everclear in case something drastic needs to happen.

I've had more experience with the Dickel rye as opposed to no. 12, but the blue label is 13 years old bottled in bond and 100 proof. Damn smooth stuff. Definetly keep your eyes peeled for it. I've only ever seen it once and at one liquor store.

Edit: after consulting Dickel's website I see this stuff is not available in Colorado. But I don't trust the interweb any farther than I can throw it.

Heavy Seas Tropi Cannon Citrus IPA. It's got that IPA bitterness, but the citrus kind of carries it through. It's also decently heavy at 7 percent ABV. I killed a couple of these during yesterday's Skype sessions and was happily toasted while meeting all the new, non-board, people who've found their way to our little chat room.

Vella Delicious Red again. It's astonishing how fast I go through these boxes when I'm on a bender. I just opened this box yesterday, but it's already light enough to tilt back by the spout with just two fingers. I'll have to open another box tonight.
