But, I am excited to try a new whiskey after I get off work tomorrow. I'm thinking of trying a Texan.

This is interesting... after a long hiatus from teh KD, and some recent dabblings into Everclear, I can now separate the neutral grain spirits aspect of KD much more easily, whereas before it eluded me.

Last night I destroyed a new bottle of Jim Beam Rye. After spending most of the day nursing a hangover, I finally got the stomach calmed enough to make a cocktail.

Now I'm killing this Beam and tomorrow I'll restock. Also, Cruzan Aged Rum is my new favorite bargain rum.

Just poured the first glass of Kessler. This stuff is from Kentucky, and whenever you see a bottle of whiskey from Kentucky that doesn't call itself bourbon, you should be suspicious. But for the price, I'll drink it. Maybe the river water that is used in bourbon is less polluted than the river water they use to make plain old whiskey. Whatevs. Maybe I'm getting some catfish guts with my whiskey. I'm only here to get fucked up.
