In college, I bought my first bottle of Scotch: Glenlivet 12.

I went over to a friend's apartment to share it with them, only to have one of them rail me as to why I would buy Scotch.

Shouldn't have let the fucker have a taste after that, but I am a generous soul.

Another day, another dry dirty gin martini. Although I'm nearly out of gin.

Talk cans of Genny black. Preparing for the soul crushing boredom that will be tommorrow. At least I have Thursday off and a short day Friday.

Continuing the trend of 12-year-old Scotches, I picked up a bottle of Bowmore 12 today. I've always kind of overlooked this distillery.

It's a simple Islay -- very straightforward and drinkable. Also grabbed an Auchentoshan 12 but that will have to wait until I'm done with this bottle.

Tonight thus far a tallboy (or "silo" locally) of Stone ///Fear. Movie. Lions. double IPA.
I've got to get at least two loads of laundry done and clean more around the house. In a surprise manouver one of my favourite cousins and her boyfriend are coming here for Thanksgiving and my apartment is the best place for them to stay. Surprise house guests, huzzah!
Probably finish off the gin tonight with another martini.
