Sipping some neat rye. High West double rye. It's a chilly autumn night I'm thinking some rye and warmed cider in the near future.

I have never tasted rye as chocolate as this.

There are strong chocolate and coffee notes and it CANNOT be mixed with anything traditional.

It's neat or nothing with this whiskey

Drinking coffee laced with 15 yr old El Dorado dark rum. An excellent combination!

Everytime I go to the liquor store I always look for something from that distillery. No luck yet, the search must continue.

For me it's coffee with bourbon. I forget which one. I put a different bourbon in with every cup. The point is, the sun is shining.

Ezra Brooks. Got two bottles for $10 each -- almost as cheap as Kentucky Deluxe.

^^^ don`t get me wrong Scream, but have people joked that it tastes like the pee of 12 horses before?
People have indeed compared Genny, all varieties, to urine. Especially the 50+ crowd.
That must be pretty salty. I guess it's good for your gums, though.

Can't find Buffalo Trace around here anymore. It used to be plentiful n the shelf, now its disappeared. So I took a day off and went straight to the fucking distillery in Frankfort KY.
Limit 1 per person on the Eagle Rare, but I scored 6 bottles of Buffalo. Mission accomplished.

I just realized that the Ezra Brooks blended bottles I've been getting for $10 are actually 1 liter rather than 750ml.

Hot damn, that's a good deal! Got another one today.
